Activity One Weaving a tall tale
Today I have to say whyI would want to weave and weather or not I would like to weave. I have to explane why I do or don't.
I would love to learn how to weave because it sounds so interesting and fun. I would also like to learn how to weave because it is an awesome thing to know. Also because I am always willing to try something new.
Activity Two - Mighty Mangroves
For this task I have to describe someone strong and tough. And I am going to describe my Mum.
My Mum is the best person ever and my dad. My Mum is strong and tough because she birth to 4 wonderful children Me, Lavinia, Conroy, and Dustine. My Mum has been tough when we got in a car accident on the wayto the tough guy and gal challenge.
Hey Angelina,
ReplyDeleteLavinia from Waikowhai Primary School. I really like how described one of your parents, I would think you would describe Wonder-woman or something. Something you could do next time is, you could maybe add a little more writing and you could write a reflection about the activity whether you enjoy it or not.
Other than that, ka pai! If you would like to see my blog, here is the link. wpslaviniac.blogspot.com.
See Ya Blogger!!!
Bula Vinaka Angelina,
ReplyDeleteCia here from the Summer Learning Journey Ako Hiko team.
You have completed another two Summer Learning Journey activities, ka pai!
Activity 1:
I really like that you are willing to try new things, that is really awesome especially with all the amazing things there are to try in our world. Maybe next time you could talk about what you would like to weave out of your flax. Is there anything you’d like to make?
I would love to weave more often, I have weaved with plastic and flax before and it takes a lot of patience. One day I want to weave a fala (mat) for my family, we used to have lots in our house but not so much now. I would also love to weave my Mum, sisters and niece an Ili (fan), my Grandparents had so many beautiful ili that had the most vibrant colours.
Activity 2:
Sounds like you have an amazing Mum! Mums are so strong and tough, they go through lots of things so that their children can be happy and healthy.
Thank you for sharing your family photo, you all look so happy together, love the bright smiles! :)
It’s a wonderful thing to show our Mums lots of love and appreciation whenever we can isn’t it? I love going out to lunch with my Mum, we laugh and talk about lots of stuff. What’s something special you like to do with your Mum?
Keep up the great work, you are doing so well. :)
Toe feiloa'i fo'i (see you again),
