Choir Rehearsal
Kia Ora Bloggers! Yesterday the 13th of June, the Choir from Waikowhai walked to Hay Park Primary school for a choir rehearsal. Seven schools came Hillsbourgh Primary, Arahoe school, Riverdale Primary, Hay Park Primary, Mt Eden Primary, and Northcoat. Our choir teachers took us. For us, it was Miss McGrath and more. The head conductor is Mr Jonathan Lambert. We sang a few song like In Winter, The Eye of the Tiger, A Te Tarakihi and one or two more songs until it was time to go have a little run around and have a little snack.
After we had a run around and had a play we came back inside and went straight back into it. This time instead of Mr Lambert teaching us it was Miss McGrath. Miss McgGrath is the other conductor and then there was another teacher who was there and she conducted a song too. We sang more songs and at the end we had an extra 31 minutes (and that was 31 minutes faster than the A side.) Since there was an extra half an hour we were learning a bit of the new song to get ready for when we learn the rest. Then after, we all got our bags and water bottles and started walking back to school. When we got to school we got about 20 minutes to play. After the bell rang we had lunch then we went with Miss McGrath to do some blogging. Then the bell rang for home time. My favourite part of the day yesterday was singing together with all the other B side schools.
