Portraits!

Portraits!!🖌
Kia Ora! Welcome back bloggers. Today I will be blogging about our self portraits. We have been working on making self portraits. We chose different decades to draw like the 90, 70, 60, and the 2000's. We had four different stages. The first stage it to draw your pattern and then paint the patterns. The next stage is to glue the other half of you face on the paper then to dye the background. Next you draw your face of the decade you chose then color. After that you have a complete portraits. I chose the 1920's. Once we finish we display our art in the hall or the classroom. We have fun making them. It takes awhile though. We have fun.
I hope you enjoyed my blog post.

Rippa Rugby Zones

Rippa Rugby Zones!!
Talofa Lava!! Welcome back bloggers today I will be blogging about the rippa zones that we have taken part in. Mr Riceman and a lucky ten students got to go to May Road park and attend the rippa rugby zones. I was one of those ten kids. We went on the 17th. We had six game throughout the day.

Our first game was against Marshal Lang Primary School. That was our first win for the day we went on winning the next but the third game was tricky. It was against Halsey Drive. Their team was fast and really good. We lost but we made a come back by winning the rest of the games. Our last game was the best we played. Some of our team went to the bathroom and we had to play with no subs. We were losing 1 - 5. They came back and we won 8 -7. We were so happy. We went back to school feeling proud.
I really hope that you enjoyed my post.
If you have any free time please comment below. I will add the results later.

Have you had famous people visit your school??

Nrl Community Clinic🏉
Talofa lava bloggers. Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be blogging about the Nrl Community clinic. For those who don't know what the Nrl is its National Rugby League.
Two famous people came to visit us it was Alan Tongue and David Solomona.  Alan Tongue is a retired rugby league player who used to play for the Canberra Raiders.
David Solomona played for the Sydney Rosters and the Parramatta eels. They came to talk to us about respect. We learnt about how to keep our bodies healthy and to keep them safe.
It was so cool to watch videos on how the League players keep their bodies safe. They also talked about how they treat the other team players. They talked about even though they were versing they always have to check if they are alright. My favourite part was when we go to do games and play with them. I had so much fun and I hope you have enjoyed my blog post.
If you have any free time please comment below and if you have had someone famous come to you school add it to you comment!!

Swimming

Swimming🏊🌊
Kia Ora Bloggers! My next blog is about our swimming. Since week one we have been swimming in our school pool. Waitemata my awesome class has been going on Monday and Wednesday during class. We have swimming lessons all the time. We have been preparing for Cameron Pools swimming lessons. We go to Cameron Pools every Tuesday and Thursday. Waitemata, my class goes with Mokoroa a middle school class. In our school pool we do lessons on Backstroke, Freestyle and Breaststroke, etc.
The teachers have chosen a special group of kids to stay back 25 minutes and do a little more practice at Cameron Pools. We are the ones who might end up in zones. I am one of the few people and I have had fun at my first extra lesson. I love going to Cameron Pools.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog!!
