Chocolate Fun
Talofa Bloggers! Today I will be blogging about what I did in lockdown. Me and my sister Lavinia baked some chocolate brownies. We have been asking my parents for a while now. We had fun making them. First we preheated the oven and started getting everything out.
Once we had everything we first melted the butter, then we added the cocoa and sugar.
After that we stirred it and then added vanilla essence then we put in the baking powder and the flour.
After this we put the eggs in then we stirred it in then sifted the Flour and Baking powder. We stirred it then we put it in a tray. After half an hour we took the cake out of the oven and let it cool down.
After a while I sliced it and I had a big piece. It tasted so good. But Lavinia burnt the cake so it could have tasted better.
Here is the recipe!
Hope you enjoyed my blog post!

Heya Angelina, chocolate at Easter is a great idea. I love your explanation of what you did. It doesn't look burnt, but I find the best thing to do is set the timer for 5 mins before the time it is due to be ready, then I can check it and get ready to take it out of the oven early if I need to. I have made a delicious apple and feijoa cake with raisins in as well. It was delicious. We are looking forward to seeing our classes next week. It is hard just waiting waiting but there are many things to be grateful for as well. Kia atawhai kia kaha.
ReplyDeleteHi to Lavinia too :)
ReplyDeleteHi Angelina,
ReplyDeleteThose brownies look delicous. Happy Easter Sunday! I love the quote you put at the bottom. Where did you get it from? I 've done some baking too. If you want, you could look at my blog and see what I've baked.
It's good that your still blogging. Have a lovely easter.
Blog you later!!!
Hi Angelina, that brownie looks delicious. We have been baking in my house too. I think we are all going to have to do lots of fitness to counteract all of the yummy food we are making. This morning Madi made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, so yum!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing everyone's faces next week and giving you all lots of work to do :)
See you then!
Talofa Angelina, that looks delicious! I have to confess I'm very different in my response to that of Ms Sands and Miss Daly, because we haven't done any baking in our house since the lock down began. I think when we're back at school, you should test out the opinions of the teachers, by making some of that yummy looking brownie for the staffroom!
ReplyDeleteA different way you could have presented this, would have been to write it up as a procedure - using a list of ingredients, equipment and then the numbered steps. Maybe you could do this for a different recipe sometime?
Happy Easter to you and all of your family. Stay well and take care :-)
