Looking out to the Sea
Hey Bloggers! Today I am blogging about my Ocean in a jar Experiment. Yesterday I went on YouTube and saw a great Experiment to do and all I needed was in the cupboard. Its really easy and mine turned out great I really hope you like it but before photos here are the instructions of what to do:
First - You can get a jar or a bottle what ever you want to do it in. I did it in a glass Jar.
Then - You put 1/3 of water in and add some food coloring or food dye. Then Shake till its all blue!
After - Put the rest 2/3 of oil. Any oil I used Canola oil but you can use what you have.
Then - Shake a little
There you have a ocean in a bottle. I really hope you like and enjoyed my blog post. If the instructions weren't clear here is a video. Also it will go to a green color so you can shake it then it will be great!
Here are some photos and the video also a quote!!
Have a beautiful day!
Hey Angie
ReplyDeleteCool blog post.Great to see you doing some crafts. I liked how to told us how to do it. maybe next time you could tell us if you think it looks like the one you made it of or not. It was still a great blog post.
Blog you later
Hi Angelina,
ReplyDeleteGreat blogpost. I really like the 'Ocean in a bottle'. It's really cool. It really looks like the ocean is in the bottle! It is super cool how you did a ocean-themed quote. It tied in with the craft you made. The quote at the bottom is very true.
Well done, blog you later!
Hi Angelina, wow, the 'ocean in a bottle' looks very effective. I thought that the water and oil would separate but didn't expect to see the bubble formation that appeared. Do you know why the water and oil reacted that way?
ReplyDeleteI loved the poster you put up. The message is so strong. Never give up, keep trying at whatever you do and eventually you will succeed.
You and your family keep safe and well in your bubble. We will see you again when school goes back.
Hi Angie, I liked the ocean in a jar.
ReplyDeleteNext time do a different colour.
What is an ocean in a jar.
Bye Angie.
Hello Angelina Wow! The Ocean bottle looks amazing that you've made. You've been creative in the holidays! I liked how you showed a video so that other people can do it. Especially the positive message. And you showed the steps. I've done it before it's very cool. Well Anyway keep up the great work! You could vist my blog on

This is amazing Angelina. I love the colours! What a great way to bring the ocean inside. I missed being able to swim during Level 4 and now its a bit too cold. The photographs are brilliant and the instructions are clear. I love the quote you added too! I wonder what you will make next????

ReplyDeleteThe colours in this are so relaxing to look at, thanks for sharing how you did it Angelina! Have you seen Pao's blog? She has done something similar to you. I missed being close to the sea while we were in lockdown, the walks I went on did not give me a view of the water. But now we're in Level 3, I went on a different walk yesterday and saw the sea from the top of a pathway I was walking along. I saw the same colours as are in your jar! I hope the online learning is going well Angelina, keep up the hard work and keep blogging. :-)
ReplyDelete(Apologies for deleting the previous post - I spotted a spelling error I had made!)
Hi Angelina, I like your experiment, it looks like a real ocean. Maybe you could try to do another one, or you could try a different colour? What did you like about the ocean in the jar?
ReplyDeleteHi Angelina, I like your ocean in a jar and I also like how you added a video just in case people don't understand. Maybe next time you can mix other colour to see what they make. Maybe you can add three colours next time?
