Ice Cream

Brain Freeze
Hey bloggers!! Today I will be blogging about how I made Ice Cream in a bag. Two days ago I attempted to make ice cream in a bag. We don't need any ice cream makers or mixers. Just a few ingredients. It went really good until the end it sort of turned. Here is the process of how I did this. It Is really cool!! Here it is!
First you grab all the ingredients:
half a zip- lock bag Ice,
1/4 of salt,
1 tsp of sugar,
1/2 cup of  milk,
1/2 cup of cream,
2 snap-lock bags and some type of flavor (optional)

First we add the Cream, Milk, Sugar and flavoring. Stir it in then pour it into a Zip-lock bag.
Then you add the ice and salt to a big zip lock bag.
Then put the mixture in the big zip lock bag but before you do you can double bag the
zip-lock bags.
Once you are finished you can put the mixture in the ice bag and shake it for 5 - 10 minutes.
After you can open it and it might be nice like ice cream.
My ice cream didn't turn into ice cream so I put it i  the freezer and forgot to take it out and it froze. So the next Afternoon I grabbed it out and put it in the fridge for it to slowly melt. Then in the evening it melt a bit to Like a Frosty from Wendy's. It was vanilla then I added chocolate Sauce and Stirred it in. It looked like a chocolate Ice cream Frosty now.
Here is a photo, And a quote, also a video of how to do it!!

  1. Ka pai Angelina. I love you you gave us a mixture of instructions, pictures and videos. It made me want to keep reading until the end. I heard a good quote recently that was something like, "You can't control the waves but you can learn to surf." Do you think the recipe will work with almond milk because I don't drink normal milk.

  2. Talofa Angelina,
It's really cool how you made ice cream in a bag. Was it yum😋?
Awesome instructions. They are very understandable and you can follow it easily. I 💗LOVE💗 the quote. It really is a beautiful quote. Where did you get all these quotes from? It's great that you're blogging about the Te Waka Ako site activities. Have you made any other flavoured ice creams🍦?

Wonderful blogpost, Angelina. Keep up the awesome work and amazing effort.

  3. Fantastic Angelina! I'm glad you are finding the experiments on our Science page fun. I really like how you have explained how you made it and what went wrong, so then how you fixed that. Brilliant problem solving. I wanted to make some vanilla ice-cream but there was no vanilla essence at the supermarket! Keep up the fantastic blogging.

  4. Hi Angelina, now I want to try and make ice cream using that method, to see if it will work for me. I love chocolate chip ice cream so I could try making some and put some grated chocolate or small pieces of chocolate in the mixture. Yum, I'm already imagining eating it! Why do you think yours didn't turn out so as the youtube clip said? I looove ice cream frosties so I'd be happy with that.
    Keep up the blogging.
